I think snow is very beautiful.
I like white Christmas.
But it is so heavy sometimes to shovel.
December 24 has
a pleasant night.
Many homes have cakes for Christmas Eve.
When I was a little boy it was special taste,
'sweet & delicious'.

We celebrate the New Year's Day.
We make traditional foods.
Do you know rice cake, "mochi" in Japanese?
It's something like kind of chewing gum.
But, it's not really gum.
It's really rice food.
I have heard that some marathon runners
eat it before the races.
Maybe it has a great power.
I don't recommend that you eat it so much.
If you had it so much,
you would have very heavy stomach easily.
And, be careful not stick it in your throat.
However, it's a kind of popular traditional food.
Many people like it.
I like it very much, too.
Snow
In winter we have some snow.
Japan is long narrow country.
'Hokkaido' and other northern behind parts
of the country have much snow.
'Tokyo' and other southern front parts
of the country don't have so much snow.
It some snows in southern 'Kyushu and 'Sikoku', never snows in 'Okinawa'.
I hope you'll have nice experiences in Japan.
